MeCAF 2013 Report

MeCAF 2013 is in the history books and I cannot believe how fast it came and went this year. What a whirlwind of a show that snuck right up on me and has left me sort of punch drunk on comics!

The journey actually began late thanks to my failure to set my alarm properly. We meant to leave at 5am, probably was closer to 5:45 when we finally hit the road, the sun slowly beginning to pierce through the morning haze.

Thanks to some speedy drivin’ and empty roads at such an early hour, we actually made it in plenty of time! Woo!

Getting set up was no big deal, by now Jesse Durona and I have this down to a science!

The show itself started particularly slow this year. From ten until around noon it was safe to call the upstairs hall, where we were once again located for the 5th year in a row, dead. Something clicked very shortly after people got lunch however and things were jammin’ right until close from then on. I managed to break my show record by far in terms of both sales and traffic. Despite the tiredness from the rush to get there on time, we all soldiered on and had some really awesome interactions with fans and fellow toonies’ alike!

For me, sketch cards were once again king as I created about ten original commissioned cards during the show, selling a handful of already-finished cards from my back-log as well. I only actually sold 2 of my comics to one customer, but as I’ve only just started out, I’m excited by a lot of the encouragement I received talking about my work with the other artists at the show!

Speaking of the other artists, here’s a few I ran in to!

John Platt is a swell fellow and a great observer of the funny found in every day. His comics are classic editorial style gags and observational anecdotes that are both sincere and hilarious!

Stacey Kardash is a very talented illustrator and sketch card artist based in Maine who I met way back at the second MeCAF back in 2010! She had a gorgeous spread of art on her table and it was such a feast for the eyes!

Dirk Tiede was in attendance at MeCAF again this year, but this time as an attendee! He stopped by the table and we talked shop for a bit, glad to hear he’s recovering from his arm injury and back to work on Paradigm Shift!

Gynn Stella and Rick Silva make up Dandelion Studios. Home to a unique collection of Gynn’s animal-focused conservation and slice of life/observational cat comics to Rick’s fantastical adventure comics with some great female protagonists! Joined by a range of artists and co-writers, these two always have plenty to show at MeCAF every year! Safe travels to them as they pack up for China for a few years!

I always find something new to enjoy at MeCAF and this year it was The Underburbs from Joe Haley and T.J. Dort. Holy CRAP what an amazingly fun, hilarious and super well paced horror comedy! About a girl, Angela, who’s unfortunately timed cold prevents her from participating in her favorite holiday, Halloween, she is witness to the comedic entry of a similarly childish demon Countess named Winifred. All sorts of antics ensue once Angela crosses over to the demon’s world. Fun for all ages, highly recommended if you need a good hearty chuckle and a touch of dark humor!

Tyler James was once again at MeCAF showing off his amazing variety of comic stylings. I of course was attracted to his fantasy piece Tears of the Dragon, featuring art by Koko Amboro. Vivid and colorful, and featuring a Dragon-centric story, it was my cup of tea. His collection of “Heroes at Fenway” has also grown, and while it’s not my favorite ball park (cause I’m a New York Yankees fan) it’s neat to see Baseball and comics coming together. He’s got so much more at his publishing outfit Comix Tribe and you should totally check him out!

Jess Fink is a pretty big name these days where comics accessibility is concerned. Published by TopShelf, her work opens you right up and pours inside you like liquid! Her fluid characters and lush, organic design sense gives all her work a fast readability and you can get drawn in so easily! Hailing from my home area, The Capitol Region of upstate NY, it’s nice to see her occasionally at the New England shows and say hello!

As is tradition, we went to a local Indian restaurant for our post-show shenanigans with the boys and girls from Trees and Hills!

While not as combative as the above picture may look, it was a good, lively conversation and meal to wrap up a good day in Portland Maine! Thanks to Casablanca Comics for putting on a better show every year, Rick and his folks work super hard to make it great and they deserve every praise! I eagerly await next year’s show and leave you with the finishing touch of my evening: A Mango Lassi!

KNGI – 10 Year Anniversary!

Tonight marks the ten year anniversary of the KNGI Network and it’s flagship title Nitro Game Injection! Kyle Crouse aka KyleJCRB has done over 200 shows of NGI and many more of his companion music show Game Fuel. Since 2009 KNGI has broadcast all of it’s programing on Arecibo Radio, and become the source for Arecibo’s podcast network.

The spiritual successor to Super Radio X, which aired from 2001-2003 on WRBC in Maine and co-hosted by the former host of WMRE Emory University Radio’s VGFrequency OCRemix’s Community Manager & Submissions Judge Larry Oji, KNGI continues the more than a decade long tradition of bringing video game and VGM rearrangement music to the public in a fun, energetic and enthusiastic way!

For the 10th Anniversary, Kyle put out the call for fans of the show to submit art. Seeing that Kyle is a big Sonic the Hedgehog fan and I am too, as well as knowing Ian Flynn, the head writer for Archie’s Sonic series (among others) will be in attendance, I took each hosts avatar and devised my own title screen print in the style of Sonic 1 to celebrate!

Featuring KNGI’s mascot Ariane, co-host Larry Oji’s character Rhino Blastoseed on the right, created by him and former co-host and official show artist Suraida (Slider-chan,) who’s Angel character, with co-creation credit to Ian Flynn’s wife, Kureejii Lea, is on the left!

Hyper Limited edition SIGNED 11×14″ glossy prints will be available tonight only during the show at my STORE page, so get one while you can!

Thanks to Kyle and Slider for permission to sell the prints and thanks to everyone at KNGI and Arecibo for making such awesomeness happen every day!

Here’s to another decade of great music!

MAGFest Report Part 3: MUSIC!!!

Time to wrap up the event that was MAGFest XI.

As the highlight of the year, one could think it’s all downhill from here, but with the inspiration I get from the show, it’s really easy to just move towards MAGFest XII producing the art and comics I love the whole time! What helps is that there’s just so much Music at MAGFest, it’s hard to get through all of it in just one year. Without the VGM Remix and Rearrangement community, there would be no MAGFest and without MAGFest, there might not be so much drive in me these last two years. I’m very grateful to know and work with and learn from all the amazing musicians, DJ’s, MC’s and ReMixers who make the journey every year to the Nation’s Capitol to celebrate the thing we all love!

So, I admit, this year I only went to 4 concerts. The busy sales at my table combined with my night at the Lumberjack Lounge (and also, you know…actually sleeping at a reasonable hour) seriously curbed my time in head-bang mode. Still, the 4 shows I did see were awesome and really helped show how MAGFest really operates, it’s heart-beat revealed.

The show’s I saw were Thursday night’s line up of The OneUps, Metroid Metal and The Megas. I also went to Knight of the Round’s metal set Saturday afternoon, to hear them live and support the group the hired me as their album artist! I’ll talk about each performance below briefly, then discuss the other performances I missed, but have since caught up on thanks to this magical thing called the internet!

The OneUps – Longtime MAGFest performers, the OneUps revealed a vastly new look at sound last year at MAGFest X and it took the show by storm. They’ve since continued to bring the Funk and are really tightening up their sound, set and presence on stage. The 4 members, Tim “T-1000” Yarbrough, William “VCR” Reyes, Mr. Musin, and Jared “JBOOTY” Dunn are as smooth as their sound, flawlessly presenting each track with little shenanigans and just pure funk. They let their jams do all the talking. Well, except when Mustin gets pumped. They’re a highlight show for me every year and I can’t wait to hear their newest stuff, slated for 2013. The best part of their set was when the next performers, Metroid Metal decided to have a little fun behind the projection screens on stage. The band rolled with it, enjoyed it and it really showed how casual, fun, and close all of the performers are at MAGFest. They also presented Lucio, rapper and beat-maker extraordinaire in a preview of a new colab project between the two artists! As an encore, they brought out Brental Floss on keys to jam! William and Tim also spent some time in the Jam Space with a premier performance of their new duo: Altered Beasts!

Metroid Metal – Another long-time performer at MAGFest and the combination of many talented individuals from various groups in the scene. Danimal Cannon from Armcannon, Kirby from Temp Sound Solutions along with founding member Stemage, Bass from Chunkstyle and drum action by Kevin Lawrence make up the current line-up and they all know how to rock your face off. Their set was loud, energetic and really got people wound up for The Megas. They covered a wide range of Metroid games, not sticking to any one system or title too long. I did find some of their arrangements to be a bit different at times, but they always brought it back to the sounds we love.

The Megas – The Mega’s have been coming to MAGFest from California for the last 4 years. Last year, at MAGFest X I missed their show, but Jesse DuRona caught it and was instantly hooked. He’s been singing their praises (literally) all of 2012! I finally caught them live after hearing their stuff on album for so long, and wow, quite the show! They’re much heavier and loud live than their finely tuned albums. High energy, high action, and lots of audience participation. It was amazing fun and worth the wait to see them.

Best part about the Metroid Metal and The Mega’s sets on the floor was the amazing Zero Suit Samus cosplayer doing hula hoop dancing.

Then her friends joined in!

Knight of the Round – KotR was the Saturday afternoon show I got to see. I recently did an Album cover and Teeshirt design for the band, so when I heard they were also going to be at MAGFest, I was stoked! They put on a head-banger of a show for a super enthusiastic crowd of fans! Justin and the gang really rocked stage 2 with some big sound! Afterwords I spent some time at their merch table finally getting a good look at the teeshirt, and all the folks who were excited by it. They were nice enough to hook me up with one and 2 others (I bought one of em!) and they’re pretty amazing designs all around! Buy their new album at their bandcamp and be sure to like them on Facebook! I’ll have poster prints of both designs available in my store shortly!

Again, you can check out all of my photos from the shows at My Flickr!

Okay, while I missed out on a lot of music at this years show, I’ve been able to catch up thanks to both Arecibo Radio and 8bitX’s live streams and the many fans who recorded live video during the various performances. I’m going to quickly cover what I’ve heard, found, and listened to about the amazing sets I had to miss!

bLiNd – You can listen to a full recording of bLiNd’s hour long DJ session on his SoundCloud page! Featuring MC duties by A_Rival halfway through, this set gets better and better as it goes on and bLiNd covers SO many quality, classic games! Totally worth a listen!

Benjamin Briggs – Ben Briggs is another DJ who’s featured his entire set up at SoundCloud. He’s an amazing talent and highly regarded even by much longer-term remixers/DJs. His sound will amaze you!

Bright Primate – Up and coming Boston-Based chiptune DJ’s Lydia Marsala (Vocals, Songs, Emotion) and James Therrien (Game Boys, Songs, Logic) form the duo that is Bright Primate! Find their show on the Chiptune Stage at YouTube!

Virt – Virt of course did a chiptune show…and of course you should watch the WHOLE THING…and of course you SHOULD LOVE IT!!! Virt: wears cat ears to every show!

Danimal Cannon – The aforementioned Danimal Cannon also does chiptune sets. THanks to Chip Music Chronicle for having all of the chiptune stage shows up on their YouTube! Here’s Danimal’s set!

Yuzo KoshiroThe Man. The Myth. The Legend. He was this years featured guest and he did a late-night dance party DJ session that packed the house and brought the nostalgia on heavy! Very sad I could not make his set, but at least it’s recorded in digital history for all to see!

Triforce Quartet – I caught just a bit of Triforce Quartet’s set immediately after Knight of the Round on Saturday. They started with a small crowd and the theme from “Game of Thrones” and by the time I returned later to Stage 2 to buy some goods from KotR, they had a packed house and were doing an amazing Legend of Zelda arrangement! Unlike KotR who was headbanging, mashing, jumping up and down metal, Triforce Quartet had a full house seated audience and they were all entirely entranced by the music! Hope they return for MAGFest XII!

And that folks, is just scratching the surface. There were SO many more chiptune performers (again, all available through Chip Music Chronicle’s playlist at YouTube!) and live bands! MAGFest XI proved once again that MAGFest works very very hard year after year to bring the best of every kind of video game music out there to the stage. Each year, every band, performer and act puts on better and better shows and the collaborative vibe this year was unmistakable, masterful and brought so much fun and joy to the entire event!

I hope to see MAGFests performers continue to come together both musically and personally, it adds a whole new level of imagination and performance to every concert, party and panel!

Thanks again to everyone at MAGFest for putting on the best show of the year. Period. You guys and gals rule!

See you all next year for MAGFest XII!

MAGFest Report Part 2: Friends

I have a lot of friends who I only see once a year. At MAGFest. This blog post is about them in all their pure awesome.

Every year for many years now, a bunch of us from the former OneUp Studios message boards (now Mustin Enterprises) gather at MAGFest to catch up, celebrate and party. Since the show has moved to the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center the style of the gathering at MAGFest has stepped up a notch. Spear-headed by long-time internet friends JoeCam and Taras “Pappy” Butrej, a group purchases a large suite and hosts a suite-party. Usual suspects include Rory O’Boyle, Haroon “FFMusicDJ” Piracha, “Jesus” Ian and Brohon. You’ll meet all of them in the photo above. Often the group chooses a theme.

This year’s theme was “Brotel Party – Dress like a douche, but don’t act like one!” Needless to say there were a lot of popped collars, glasses being worn inside and excited shouts of “BRO!” Everyone from Dale North Editor in Chief of Destructoid, to Jake “Virt” Kauffman of WayForward, to Kunal Majmudar and Maximo Lorenzo show their faces at the so-called “Lumberjack Lounge.” It’s a gathering of not only some of the best talent in the VGM Remix/Rearrangement community, but also some of my best far-away friends! Each one is doing something different and amazing with their talents and I hope to give you all just a snippet of their awesome here in this post!

Oh, and in case you were wondering; This is how nerds run a shots competition:

The competition is set up into rounds of 3 shots, each winner advancing until we have a 3-way showdown at the end. There’s prizes for the winners AND Losers. Each shot MUST be themed after a game (or game-related, as there was a Wreck it Ralph themed shot this year for Venelope!) This years winner was HAT! With a shot called “Purple Tentacle” from the classic LucasArts game Day of the Tentacle!

My good buddy Haroon was making his second-place shot from last year on the side for us non-participants so we could taste what it takes to place in “Onimushots!”

I’ve mentioned a lot of people already, so why don’t I get down to specifics? I’ll share a little bit about each person and what they’re doing that’s just so awesome! (No specific order, just as they come to me….)

Maximo V Lorenzo – I’ve talked plenty about this guy already, but seriously, Go read his webcomic OHKO!

Mustin – Co-Founder of the former OneUp Studios with Dale North, now the man behind Mustin Enterprises and The OneUps!

JoeCam – Asshole. Also, writer for The Gaming Vault.

Taras “Pappy” Butrej – DudeBro. Does movie reviews at his blog Mainstreamin’

Kunal Majmudar – Runs Pixeltone Music and co-founder of SWD Tech! Guest percussion for The OneUps also, all around awesome guy!

X-Strike Studios – Tim, Rorry, Ben and the whole gang at X-Strike do video game movies with a sense of humor and nostalgia! I’d recommend Project: Snake Low Budget Espionage as a good starter!

Overcoat – Aka Scott, he hosts Touhou Tuesday and Radio Overcoat Tuesday and Wednesday nights over at AreciboRadio! Be sure to jump into the chat and talk with all the other fans as well as hosts, guests and producers!

Kristina “TrueStar” Kauffman/ Jake “Virt” Kauffman – Kris is another Arecibo Radio host, co-hosting Touhou Tuesdays and her own show Noise Channel on Thursday nights. Her shows are often produced by Virt, who’s 110% Awesome.

Ailsean – God of Guitar.

Steph – Steph is the guest coordinator of MAGFest and one of the bubbliest, happiest people I know!

Flik – Chris Serani was MAGFest’s official photographer this year and I’m sure he’s busy right now uploading thousands of photos!

Justin Taylor – Super nice guy who knows how to METAL. When not on stage, wears glasses!

Brandon Strader – No longer an “up and coming” OCRemixer this guy knows how to rock and will have a solo album coming VERY SOON! Hit up his website!

NO-Shows:

Here are some folk that sadly couldn’t make it this year, but are MAG Veterans and sorely missed!

Mazedude – Chris Getman and his wife just had their first child, baby Isabella! Mazedude is hard at work on his next solo album “American Pixels” Pre-order now for a free Chiptune EP!

Larry “Liontamer” Oji. – Loves McRibs. Had the flu and had to skip MAGFest this year, he’s a veteran attendee, long time VGM DJ and co-host of Nitro Game Injection on Arecibo Radio! He’s also the Community Manager and a Judge over at OCRemix.

KyleJCRB – Main host of Nitro Game Injection and master of the KNGI radio network!

These are just some of the people I meet every year now at MAGFest to catch up with! The list goes on and I’m sure I missed some folks, but hey…that’s why we hang at the show!
To see my complete MAGFest photo set with many of the people listed here in it, his up my Flickr account!

Tomorrow, the final part of my report and what MAGFest is really all about: The Music! Let me tell ya, this year was incredible!

MAGFest Report #1

First off let me say thanks so much to everyone at MAGFest, y’all put on an amazing show year after year and I know you strive to make each convention better than the last. From this sole cartoonists perspective, let me say you did doubly as awesome as last year!

Simply put, MAGFest XI was twice the show MAGFest X was! I know it’s hard to top a shows’ 10th anniversary that features Nobuo Uematsu’s The Earthbound Papa’s…but in so many ways this years convention blew the lid off X!

As I did with last year’s MAGFest report, I’m going to break this thing up into 3 sections! Art, Friends and of course the Music!

The Friends section will cover the show floor from the awesome staff to attendees and cosplay, to scheduling and set-up, as well as the multitude of people and friends I only get to see each year at MAGFest!

The Music section wraps things up with what MAGFest is really all about: The concerts! This years lineup was superb and all the shows I went to were very well attended, well produced and well performed! From The OneUps to Armcannon, The Mega’s and The Protomen along with special guest DJ Yuzo Koshiro, MAGFest rocked harder than ever!

THIS is the art section! What a year for Artists at MAGFest! The vendor hall had painters, cartoonists, craft makers, and art prints for sale EVERYWHERE! In terms of sales, I heard from almost every table I stopped at that sales this year were up double or more from last year’s show, despite an oddly slow Saturday. This was absolutely the case at my table as both Jesse Durona and I easily beat our totals from last year and then moved over double! Had the table half-paid for by the end of our first half-day (Thursday) even! Seeing that we’re both starting out, making back just table costs is usually an attainable goal, so doing double that this year for me in particular was an enormous step in the right direction, and a great confidence booster!

We both aspire to provide better products for better pricing each and every year and grow our artistic skills and profits to match. MAGFest is not only our best show of the year usually, it also provides us with the most inspiration, enjoyment and chance to connect with like-minded fans and fellow artists alike. It’s almost sad to say MAGFest is the highlight of our year, but it definitely is, and provides us with the creative capital necessary to get through the entire year!

But enough about us, let’s talk about some of the other amazing artists I had the brief chance to meet, see again, or discover for the first time!

If we’re voting on the prettiest booth girls at the show, Danielle Sylvan Dernoga just might win. She also won my attention for her stunning digital paintings and illustrations. Her style is sort of a nice mixture of realism with the fantastic and just a hint of Disney. Her work is very crisp and bright, using vibrant colors to put your attention where it needs to be. She doesn’t work just digitally, however, offering caricature commissions in pen and ink with copic markers at the table on the fly. This is a good choice as she’s very good at rendering recognizable faces! While some of her compositions seemed a bit stiff, at 19, she’s got a lot of talent and a lot of awesome art ahead of her! Hope to see her at MAGFest XII!

My only true impulse buy of the show was Guilded Age Volume One from T. Campbell and Phil Kahn who were tabling directly behind my table the entire time, yet I didn’t get around to actually meeting them until the last night! Shock and awe, and now disappointment are settling in as it turns out their comic is not too dissimilarly inspired as my budding fantasy adventure, Citadel. T Campbell also was a student of James Sturm, founder of my Alma’matter the Center for Cartoon Studies! While Guilded age is inspired by World of Warcraft, and my inspiration comes from more a Final Fantasy style background, fantasy stories are all cut from some similar cloth. Guilded Age definitely puts humor before anything else, and is made pretty clear that the early goings were wrought with Penny Arcade envy! As the stories go on tho, you can see it shaping into it’s very own sort of thing as the wild band of adventurers drive things forward. While no longer a part of the project, Erica Henderson is no longer the mainstay artist on the book, this volume is all her work, including a bonus story squeezed out before she left for other commitments. In full color, it’s definitely worth the 20 smackers price tag!

I was also introduced, albeit very briefly, to the work of Heidi Arnhold. This Atlanta, GA cartoonist and illustrator is another SCAD grad who’s done some pretty amazing sequential work for Tokyopop on The Dark Crystal, Star Trek Uchu and upcoming work on a Fraggle Rock anthology! She has a very excellent design sense in her fan art posters and prints and her sequential pages are wrought with detail, fine crisp lines and impressively smooth but simple layouts. I definitely didn’t know such a thing as a Dark Crystal comic existed, but I’m absolutely going to grab a copy now, knowing such a talented illustrator is bringing it to life! P.S. – Her husband does a podcast!

K-BO! Kevin Bolk was once again in attendance at MAGFest and man did he have it in high-gear this year! Guy was doing commissions basically non-stop and I hear he’s got quite the list for when he gets home! Kevin is a fine fellow who does the popular web comic “It Sucks to Be Weegie” about Mario’s not so popular little brother. He also has some fantastic slice-of-life/auto-bio comics that are poignant, funny and in his fantastic made-for-animation style! Kyle is also part of the inspiration behind my table-mate Jesse DuRona’s Despondent Mega Man! It was very good to see him again and hope to catch up again soon!

Other creators I saw at the show in-passing as I didn’t have very much time to get away from my own table:

Julia Lichty, a fantasy, sci-fi, gothic illustrator and cartoonist who mixes a lot of traditional and digital elements together to create some pretty striking and darkly romantic pieces.

Sara Ho, who’s “Be the Leaf” Avatar: The Last Airbender print was everywhere at the show, super cute and super popular! Her bubbly style brought some downright fun to the show floor!

Need a dose of hyper chibi cuteness? Tehnoangel Studios has you covered with buttons and prints and all sorts of neat goodies!

He didn’t table this year but my buddy Maximo V Lorenzo aka 8-Bit Maximo was there to party hardy and it was super good to see him and his bitchin’ scarf again!

Well, that about wraps up the artists section of this years MAGFest report! Lots of inspiring and jaw-dropping art this year. Here’s hoping Jesse and I can really step-up our game in 2013 now and really bring it for 2014’s MAGFest XII!

OH! One last reminder: Starting every Tuesday now there will be a new page of Citadel Chapter 1 as I re-boot the story and move forward with the comic! Also, Thursdays will feature a new sketch-card, starting with the ones from MAGFest! Plenty of new content to be had in 2013!

MICE 2012 Report

MICE: the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo was held last Saturday the 29th of September at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. It was the show’s third year and by far it’s best! Here’s my short but quick review!

Note: I actually didn’t get any of my own photos this year outside of my sketch card commissions I did at the table, so I’ll be using photos taken by my co-tablers!

Here’s Chris “Radical” Warren, Matt Young and I at our table…Oh My God WHAT’S WRONG WITH MY FAAAAACE?! The cameraman unfortunately caught me stuffing said face.

The event this year was held in the same location as last years space, with almost an identical layout. One long hallway of tables and three adjoining rooms of various sizes. We happened to be in the very end, and smallest, room. At first one would think this would be detrimental to any one placed in that location, but it turned out to be a bit of a blessing as the small space tended to create traffic jams, trapping potential customers to salivate at your wares, and eventually cave to buying.

THIS face was made a lot at MICE! Smiles courtesy Colleen AF Venable and Stephanie Yue!

Sales were brisk when the crowds were thick, slowed significantly when people managed to find their way out. I sold a ton of sketch cards, no comics. My table mate Jesse DuRona on the other hand sold several copies of his Despondent MegaMan comic! Financially, this show was a success for us both! I heard similar tales from the few other cartoonists I had time to chat with. The attendance was a nice mixture of kids, teens and adults of all generations. Boston really came out to support it’s local creators and I’m very glad to have been a part of it yet again!

The after party went something like this:

Yes, that’s Deadpool at the end of the bar. Photo by Roho!

Despite losing my phone at Charlie’s Kitchen in Harvard Square, the Art School Fraud crew had a great time recording, losing, then re-recording a podcast whilst merrily drinking and eating with our fellow toonies. We also got a visit from our convention floor neighbor “Rampage” Warren! Her comics are hilarious, by the way! Oh, my phone did return to me, thanks to Chris’s Mother in law Margaret! Thanks Margaret! The only mar on the after party was the fact that the space was too small and several groups did end up finding another venue to get their drink on. The search for the perfect post-MICE party space continues!

-RD

NOTE: Now that my site is up and running again in some capacity, I’ll be re-uploading my sketch cards, two a week again, starting from scratch. Don’t worry though, I’ll start with my most recent additions from MICE! Then I’ll fill in the back-log as I go until we’re completely caught up some time in 2013! Every time I do a show however, I’ll break the chain and upload the newest ones right away so you all can stay current!

Under Construction

RKDIA Comics is now under construction for the remainder of the Summer!

Citadel is being re-started from the beginning starting this fall (I hope) and I’ll also bring back sketch cards every week at that time. Until then, check out my DeviantArt page for a complete re-upload of all my sketch cards so far as well as any new art I’ve been working on. See you all again this fall!
