Sketch Card – Super Fighting Robot

One of the best shows at MAGFest every year are The Megas! I threw this sketch card together shortly after their concert! Classic Mega Man!

Sketch Card – Marle

The damsel in distress who then turns around and becomes a leader in the games darkest hour, Chrono Trigger’s Marle has long been one of my favorite female characters in gaming. Sure she’s bossy and mischeveous, but cute and a powerful mage in gameplay!

Banner – Save/Continue GOTY

Happy weekend everyone! I was commissioned by my buddy JoeCam to do the banner for the #1 post of Save/Continue’s Game of the Year countdown for 2013! Tomb Raider came out on top with 4 #1 votes, so she’s the focus of the piece!

Sketch Card – Robotnick

Seeing how I’m still working off of a MAGFest high, here’s another classic video game sketch card: Dr. Robotnick! Called Eggman in Japan, it took almost a decade for that name to make it’s way to the States versions of the games. My very first video game was Sonic The Hedgehog back in 1991 when I was six years old! It’s stuck with me ever since!

Sketch Card – Demon King

About the time The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD was coming out, I was attending Granite Con in Manchester, NH. Clearly the game influenced a few of my sketch cards that weekend! Always loved the design of Gannondorf in that game!

Sketch Card – Welcome Mayor!

Though I usually wait a month or two after a game comes out to actually purchase it (Unless I really really want it!) I did eventually jump on the Animal Crossing: New Leaf bandwagon and boy has it been fun! I started off GraniteCon this year by drawing your trusty in-game assistant Issabel!

Happy Halloween!

In lieu of the normal Thursday Sketch Card post, here’s something special for the holiday! To celebrate not only the frightful festivities, but my coming out of “Pokemon Retirement” here’s a quick piece I did today featuring everyone’s favorite spooky ghost Pokemon Ghastly, Haunter and Gengar! Enjoy! *insert evil laughter here*
